Overseas buying guide

Choose used machinery in Japan, from your own country.

From checking a machine’s condition to discussing shipping and export arrangements, here are the steps and points to agree before buying used machinery from overseas.

01

How to buy

  1. Choose a machine

Check the manufacturer, model, year, operating hours and photos in our inventory.

  2. Tell us the machine and destination

Send the product URL, company and contact name, destination country, preferred port and desired timing.

  3. Review its condition

Tell us which areas you would like to check. We will explain what additional photos, videos or inspection information we can provide for that machine.

  4. Review the quotation and terms

Review the terms below and the import arrangements you need to make. We record agreed specifications, condition, costs and responsibilities in the quotation and contract.

  5. Contract and handover

Proceed under the agreed payment terms. WORLDing arranges transport and export within the scope defined in the contract.

02

Costs & terms

We distinguish the machine price from related costs. Available terms, responsibilities and schedules are agreed for each transaction.

Machine price & currency

Confirm the transaction currency, tax treatment, included accessories and quotation validity.

Transport, export & handover

Confirm costs and responsibilities for transport in Japan, port handling, export documents and customs clearance, ocean freight and insurance, as well as required documents and schedules. Costs vary with machine dimensions, weight, destination and transport method.

Trade terms (Incoterms)

We individually confirm available terms, such as FOB, CFR or CIF, the named port or place and applicable edition. Cost allocation and the point at which risk of loss or damage transfers are agreed separately.

Payment: T/T or L/C

We accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer / bank transfer) or L/C (Letter of Credit). Before contracting, we confirm payment timing, the amount we must receive, sending, intermediary and receiving bank fees, and detailed L/C conditions and related charges.

Condition, warranty & returns

For each machine, we agree in writing whether the sale is As-Is, any warranty and its scope, and conditions for returns and reporting defects. Review the photos, videos, specifications and condition information carefully before contracting.
